Of Travels and Answered Prayers

Last year, specifically during the last quarter of 2014, my hubby and I found ourselves in a financially challenging season. It was really a difficult time but thank God, we have come through ๐Ÿ™‚

Although this was our situation then, I think our family and friends connected to us via Facebook will have no idea that this was the case. Our timelines were filled with tagged photos of my hubby and I taking several vacations during 2014 ๐Ÿ™‚ ย These vacations, however, were made possible through the invitation of close friends and relatives. It was kind of weird that even if it was a financially challenging year for us, it was the year when my husband and I traveled the most.

We traveled to Phuket (Thailand) in June.

Then we spent Christmas in Camiguin (Philippines) ๐Ÿ™‚

One of the lovely falls in Camiguin.
Camiguin has its share of smaller islands worth exploring.

And then before the year ended, we went to Surigao del Sur (Tinuay-an Falls, Enchanted River and Britania Islands – all in the Philippines) ๐Ÿ™‚

It was quite a bumpy ride to find Tinuy-an falls but it was all worth it ๐Ÿ™‚
We enjoyed the pristine white sand of Britania islands ๐Ÿ™‚

In December 2013, I had written in my journal and list of prayer of requests my desire that my hubby and I would do some traveling in 2014 as a couple. I also wished for an international travel as the last time we traveled outside the country was in 2011. Ah, God answers prayers ๐Ÿ™‚ ย And yes, we are very grateful to HIm from whom all blessings flow.
