Waiting for a White Rose

image_1 One of my favorite flowers of all time is the white rose. I took this shot of a white rose I was holding during my younger brother’s wedding in 2008.

Although I’ve received some bouquets of red roses several times, mostly given by admirers, none had really given me white ones. I often thought then: how come no one thought about that?

Amazingly, even without me telling him, it was my fiance (now, my hubby) who did give me my first bouquet of white roses 🙂  Looking at this photo now reminded me that my white roses came a year later after this shot. Sometimes what we are waiting for really does come to pass.

that means, he truly is the one. white roses are simply beautiful, but as we all know, red means love and passion and thus, that may be why they’re given more to loved ones than the red ones. while, i would think that someone who would give white roses thinks that his love is pure. just my thoughts.

Awe! That was so sweet of him then. Red roses are usually always available than the white ones and if I am not mistaken white roses a bit higher price than the white ones. Lovely! 🙂
